Some ideas to help you start your day out on the right foot.
For me it’s important to begin my day with mindful breathing. I believe this sets the tone for the rest of my day. When I feel myself getting tense throughout any moment in my day i like to return to this meditative breath I enjoyed earlier that morning. I continue this mindful practice while I eat breakfast and prepare for my day.
I really enjoy the idea of getting myself into the right headspace first thing in the morning so I like to do something that gets my heart pumping or my energies flowing. I like to continue my meditation through stretching or doing some yoga. Or, I like to compound on my meditation with some added endorphins making sure that I am starting my day in a great mood.
Honestly, its my favorite thing to do whether I feel mad, happy, or sad. I feel refreshed and revitalized, ready to take on my day.
I like to set the mood for my work. Whether it’s an inspiring podcast in the car or an instrumental playlist while I work at home. This is another way I like to drag my good morning vibes into the rest of my day. Before I know it it’s 1pm and I’ve gotten so much done.
I only like to follow inspiring things on my social media so before I get to work or at any point in my morning I like to soak in my affirmations. Whether its on Pinterest or Instagram I love absorbing all the positive vibes. Feeling motivated and supported by the universe makes me feel more motivated and more confident about tackling my goals for the day.
Note I did not add times. Curate your mornings to what is best for you. If you wake up at 5am thats alright, if you wake up at 7am that’s okay too. What matters is how you feel. Always begin your days feeling your best.
