We’ve all been there. Buying fancy skin care and expensive candles all in the name of self care. Well I say no more! Let’s put an end to the idea that self care has to be expensive to be effective. Here are some free self care therapy options to get you over that long day you just had.
I know you’ve heard of music therapy. Why not DIY at home? Turn on that karaoke mix and jam out! Dancing around also gives you a place to release all the pent up energy. Let all out, do your thing! I bet you’ll feel great after.
I don’t know about you, but for me, a shower has always done it for me. It’s like I am symbolically washing away all my problems and suddenly my mind is cleared. Go ahead! Wash off the day, let it go. Or if you prefer a soak, mix up your own concoction, NO BATH BOMB NECESSARY.
Some ideas for ingredients: Epsom Salt, Baking Soda (Exfoliator), Essential Oils, Loose Tea Leaves (for scent and nutrients), Your Normal Soap of Choice

You may not want to hear it but love exercise can be your best friend if you let her. She serves more than one purpose including headache relief. Let those endorphins loose! Go for a run, do an at home work out, whatever works for you these are just some of my favorites. Which brings me to my next point.
Fresh air and nature are the most underrated things I know. I can’t tell you how many problems I’ve solved by simply taking a step outside. Go! Be amongst the trees or frolic through a garden. If you live in a city there are always parks and botanical gardens you can get lost in for a while. It will do you some good, trust me. Can’t or just don’t want to go outside? Open a window, let the fresh air find you.
Do these, because self care should be a daily practice not an expensive splurge on the weekends.
